Our history

Founded in 1997 by Massimo Renda, Caffè Borbone was born under the name “L’Aromatika.” Seeing a vision in single-serve machines, Massimo partnered with an external roaster and went door-to-door across Italy, selling ESE pod machines and espresso pods.

Soon after, Massimo took things in-house, buying our first roasting and pod-production machines in Naples and building a small but mighty sales team under the noble name Caffè Borbone.

Our success in Italy led to the expansion to the U.S. consumer market through Caffè Borbone America, where we continue the Italian coffee tradition throughout North America.
