A dark roast blend of Arabica and Robusta beans sourced from Brazil, Uganda, and Vietnam, Miscela Blu produces a thick crema and flavor notes of chocolate and roasted nuts, with average acidity. Grind to your ideal consistency for espresso, Moka pot, pour-over, or your preferred brewing method.
About the Blend
Caffè Borbone's Miscela Blu (Blue Blend) uses a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans roasted in Italy. The Robusta beans contribute to a dense, persistent crema that adds body and intensity. The Arabica beans round it out with sweetness and flavor complexity. The result is a balanced cup with a clean, lasting finish, that's not sharp or bitter.

I'm ruined....
Like the previous reviewer, I had my first cup of Caffe Borbone Bleu while in Napoli. I found it hard to believe that espresso could be this smooth and have secondary notes of flavor. Not in the US anyway. I even reached out to James Hoffman to ask if he'd heard of it or tried it. I just needed an expert opinion. I don't understand why coffee drinkers in the southern states are okay with burned, bitter espresso? At any rate, for me and mine, this is as good as it gets. Ciao
